Genau Open Source and its principal, J. David Mason, manages investment portfolios with investments in major world corporations, public and private. One portfolio is managed for Mason Family Holdco Inc, the operating investment company for the family trust. This portfolio has diversified investments in multiple sectors, of which about 20% are resource companies and approximately 10% emerging companies. Genau also works with emerging resource companies to assist in seed and advanced financings, as well as corporate and property valuations.

Located in Toronto, Ontario, the mining finance capital of the world, and with more than 36 years of international experience in mining and the capital markets, the Genau team is uniquely positioned to help its clients reach their potential.
