Background

Prior to Genau Open Source, David founded and managed three public companies in the resource investment banking, uranium development, and gold exploration sectors. He has raised over $500 million CDN in his career, primarily in the emerging resource company sector.

David has also spent time as a senior mining analyst, in institutional and retail sales, and in corporate finance. As a portfolio manager, he was ranked in the top three for this type of fund, which raises several billion dollars annually.

He has worked more than 36 years in the investment business and passed all exams including the Partners and Directors Exam.
